Pehart Group supplies household and industrial products in 18 countries in Europe, always focusing on sustainability in all areas: environmental protection, responsible sourcing policies and integrated management systems.Buy only from safe and authorised sources; paper is produced entirely from pulp (FSC certified) from forests grown exclusively for paper production. With the inauguration of a new converted paper line in Sebeş, the focus on sustainability has been taken to a new level.
“The launch of the new production line is naturally part of the company’s development plan. Our business strategy aims to increase production capacity in the internal market by strengthening the position of our own brand in the large chain stores and continuously improving the quality of our products, but also by expanding our production capacity to new The country expands to face external markets. Production lines equipped with advanced technology will also enhance the quality level of Pfina products. Last but not least, we also want to improve the non-financial performance of the company. More specifically, to promote ethical trends, This means caring for the environment on the one hand, and investing in strong local communities by creating new jobs on the other. Heated web fusing on the new Pehart line in Sebeş, the world’s first technology of its kind
The Pehart Sebeş line uses a technology rarely used in the papermaking process – heated roll paper.Innovative technology with heated rollers increases the strength, elasticity and absorbency of the paper, while representing a more sustainable and economical alternative to traditional practices.Last but not least, it has lower maintenance costs and has much lower risks associated with its use than traditional techniques.
Traditionally, adhesives have been used in the paper processing process, which presents environmental and operational drawbacks. However, the new Pehart line in Sebeş uses Aquabond technology, which replaces the adhesive with water during the lamination of white toilet paper. This reduces production time, but also reduces the costs associated with maintaining the machine. This technology guarantees bond quality, efficient bonding with adhesives, and reduces production costs by reducing adhesives.
The new line also offers the possibility of environmentally friendly packaging using biodegradable materials
The focus on high-quality, environmentally friendly products is reflected in Sebeş’s new Pehart line and “green” packaging solutions that help protect the environment while keeping pace with technology and maintaining optimum productivity. Therefore, for some products produced in Pehart Sebeş, a combination of paper and bioplastic materials will be used for packaging.Pufina Natura products come in eco-friendly packaging solutions. Not only are they recyclable and biodegradable, they are as versatile as polyethylene in terms of product protection, packaging options, printability and mechanical stress during production.
Currently, Pehart has two factories in Sebes, Alba County, and Dej, Cluj County.Pufina is the second largest tissue brand in the Romanian market, while Pehart produces most of the retail chain’s private label products. At the same time, Pehart was the first tissue factory in Romania to introduce the IF-HPC certificate, which certifies the implementation of the product safety system.
